In Antarctica, users discovered something in the snow that looked remarkably like a ship. Elsewhere, strange shapes, mysterious structures, ancient stone wheels, unusual lakes, abandoned ships and even a supposed “ghost” have appeared on satellite and Street View imagery. Some of these places have perfectly normal explanations.
